The beautiful presentation of packaging – so much love has gone into the presentation! I like the softness of the round and that they aren’t so absorbent as to soak up all my product. I love how they are supporting women to work from home and balance child raising with work.

I like this product because it is hand crafted from lotus silk which is a unique offering in the beauty space. They were soft on the skin, easy to rinse and a versatile addition to my bathroom. I loved the packaging that was made from the leftovers of the lotus stem. It is very unique and full circle. A socially conscious organisation that works with developing communities and traditional techniques. They have incorporated full circle practices within their manufacturing and their environmental footprint is very low.
This is a beautiful product. It is not only doing good but feels good too. I really like that there are two sides – a very soft one and a slightly rougher one. It’s a great alternative to the bamboo and cotton pads out there that are made in bulk. The team at Acala have done a great job with every element of what they do. I love that they are supporting women in Cambodia to work and that they are providing a solution for farmers. Also great that they are supporting local communities too like St Kilda Mums.
